Description
IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid) is the gold-standard auxin for carnivorous plant propagation. At 3000 ppm, this formulation covers the mid-strength range used for woody-stemmed species such as Nepenthes, Cephalotus, and mature Drosera petioles. The dry powder binds to the cut surface on contact and releases gradually into the surrounding media as moisture enters.
Apply to stem cuttings, leaf pullings, and rhizome divisions. Tap off any excess before inserting the cutting into sterile media to avoid overexposure.
