Nepenthes maxima 'Wavy' × boschiana is a spectacular intermediate-to-highland hybrid combining the extraordinary wavy peristome of the selected maxima parent with the architectural, elongated pitcher form of N. boschiana. The result is a plant that manages to be simultaneously dramatic and manageable — a rare combination among highland Nepenthes.

🌿 About this plant

N. maxima 'Wavy' is a selected clone with an exceptionally undulating, wavy peristome that gives each pitcher an almost decorative, hand-crafted appearance. N. boschiana contributes height to the pitcher, a more elongated cylindrical body, and a rich dark red colouration in the upper portions. Together, the hybrid produces pitchers with wavy rims on tall, dark-red bodies — visually arresting.

This is a Medium (M) specimen — an established, actively pitchering plant with a strong root system. Medium size offers the ideal balance of established root structure and room to grow quickly into a large specimen.

• 🌫️ Humidity: 70–90% RH. Intermediate-highland requirement — a grow cabinet or well-ventilated humid space is ideal. In India, suitable for Bangalore plateau and hill stations without cooling, but will need supplemental humidity if grown inland at lower altitude.
